Post-Doctoral Fellow in Medicinal Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry and the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology in association with the Centre for Catalysis Research and Innovation (CCRI) are seeking dynamic recent PhD graduates with a very strong background in synthetic organic chemistry to work on interdisciplinary projects to develop initial ‘hit molecules’ into bona fide leads doing classical medicinal chemistry on projects in a variety of therapeutic areas. The individual will work primarily synthesizing compounds working in close association with biochemists and molecular modellers. The positions are available to start immediately. Salary is commensurate with experience.
