The Schafer group has a postdoctoral position in medicinal N-heterocyclic chemistry available. https://schafer.chem.ubc.ca/openings/ This is a collaborative project offering opportunities to work with biologists in addition to working alongside PhD students in the Schafer group focused on organic synthetic chemistry. All organic synthetic chemists with experience in the synthesis of N-heterocycles for natural product synthesis, methods development, medicinal chemistry or materials chemistry are encouraged to apply. Organic synthetic chemists with experience in catalysis for the preparation of any organic products are also welcome to apply.
