CSC Organic and Bioorganic Young Investigator Workshop
Since its inaugural meeting in 1992, the Young Investigator Workshop has been a flagship initiative of the CSC Organic Division: a prestigious, biennial, nomination-only event that convenes Canada's most promising early-career faculty in organic and bioorganic chemistry. The workshop has grown to include participation from emerging faculty nominated through the European Chemical Society, fostering an international dimension to Canadian organic chemistry
The Workshop's features "chalk-talk"-style research presentations alongside targeted professional development workshops. With a deliberately small cohort of participants, it creates an intimate environment in which emerging academics can present their work candidly, receive high-level mentorship from senior academic and industry leaders, and build the collaborative networks essential for long-term success.
The 17th Young Investigator Workshop will be held in Montréal, July 2027.
